I have to say, one of the things I love most about weddings is getting to spend time with the bridesmaids throughout the day…I think because I almost always feel like I am an honorary member of the bridal party! I love when all of the girls are getting ready…excitement is in the air. It’s almost palpable. You can sense the feelings of anticipation and the joy of the promises that are about to be made!

The morning of Grant and Lindsey’s wedding was no different. And I think we were all especially excited to see the sun after so many rainy days in Virginia! It was a gorgeous Saturday in late May at Oxon Hill Manor…Lindsey’s bridesmaids and mom helped her slip into her wedding gown and then it was time to meet her groom! They did a quick first look at the bottom of the beautiful staircase in the manor house and Grant’s reaction was one of my all time favorites…

Then they made their way out to the stunning garden full of giant, fluffy peonies and fragrant lavender to get married! 
I loved getting to be a part of this beautiful manor house wedding and am so honored to share my favorites with you today…
