Skip and Sara

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bride care more for her family and friends on her wedding day…Sara made it such a priority to make sure that her guests were enjoying the day! She is gracious and loving and incredibly thoughtful and it was such a joy to get to celebrate her and Skip with everyone this past Saturday! Not only does Sara care so much for her loved ones, but they clearly admire her and Skip so much too…

The excitement was palpable while people cheered for them following the ceremony as they made their exit from the church…and then again as they made their entrance into the ballroom at the Congressional Country Club!

It was the perfect backdrop for their reception and portraits…I loved when Sara mentioned that she loved this location because it has an almost European vibe! It was so beautiful and made a stunning backdrop for their celebration! I also loved that they told me during portrait time that they felt right at home because they spend so much of their free time at the Congressional…That made the location even more special! The whole day was classic and elegant in every way!

I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from their day! Huge thanks to Kimmie for second shooting with me and Kaitlin with Cheers Darling Events for helping to make their day run so smoothly!

Skip and Sara, it was such an incredible honor to get to be a part of your day! So much love to you both!

Oh my gosh, I love the picture of the bride coming down the aisle with such a big smile on her face. Gorgeous!
