I can’t believe it, but this is my LAST session until after baby boy Akins arrives!! And what a way to go down! I loved everything about getting to spend my evening with these two at the National Gallery of Art in DC…

First, I can’t say enough good things about Danny and Katie! I am so grateful to get to work with and know the sweetest, most down to earth couples! They are the kind of people that make you feel invited in from the moment you meet them…and from the first conversation I knew I was going to love getting to be a part of this special season in their lives! I had so much fun hearing more about their story and upcoming wedding day!

Both Katie and Danny are history lovers so this was the absolute perfect location to capture their relationship…I wanted their session to feel like I was just following them on a date around the museum…we started inside in the art galleries, made our way into the gorgeous lobby, and up to the rooftop right as the sun was setting! The light was so beautiful and I can’t wait for you to see those! Last we headed outside as it was getting dusky and all the DC lights were coming on…it was chilly, but absolutely gorgeous!

Danny and Katie, thank you so much for being so sweet and for having me capture such a special time in your relationship! July can’t come soon enough!! I am so excited for this special day with Allison Barnes Events!
