In honor of baby boy’s due date (TODAY!!) I’m so excited to share photos of his nursery! It’s already my new favorite room in the house and he isn’t even here yet…we’ve loved sitting in here at night – me on the glider and Ryan on the footstool with his hands on my belly – to pray for our baby boy’s life and to thank the Lord for the blessing of getting to love him each day!! Lexie loves to sit in here too and her new favorite hiding spot is under his crib. We’re hoping she’s going to adjust well to having a little brother! We all can’t wait to meet him, but for now we are treasuring these sweet days and enjoying the anticipation of his arrival! 

There was a time (as in a couple weeks ago…) where I thought we might never finish the nursery in time! We know he won’t actually sleep in here for a while, but I didn’t want to have to worry about it once I have a newborn to take care of! You see…this tiny space USED to be my office and I have no idea how, but it was PACKED full of stuff…some stuff I need for my business, but more that I just needed to go through and get rid of! We spent almost the entire month of February in full on NESTING mode! I’ve never cleaned or organized so much in my life…we cleaned and purged every closet in our little house….nothing to motivate you like your baby’s due date coming!!

We painted my very dark grey office WHITE and that made such a huge difference right away!! It ‘s a really small room so it made it feel so much bigger and brighter! Then I started hunting for pieces to fill it! Most things I ordered online, but a few things I picked up at Ikea. I’ll link everything I can at the bottom of the post!
