Last week I met up with Shyanne and Steve at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach…it’s a place I frequented as a kid with my family, but now I mostly go for sessions since I don’t live in the area anymore! These two live there but had never been…I had the best time showing them around and photographing them on the gorgeous walkways and the beach! Not even the bugs could stop us from getting the most gorgeous images! And I was so thankful for a beautiful evening with temps in the 70’s after it had been so hot the past few weeks…it could not have been more beautiful outside! And I could not have asked for a sweeter couple! I’m convinced over and over again that I get to work with the sweetest couples in the world…

Steve and Shyanne met in college and got engaged shortly after they graduated…they’ve been taking their time planning the wedding of their dreams and I can’t wait to see it all come together!! They are getting married at Stone Tower Winery in Northern Virginia where Shyanne is from and I have no doubt it’s going to be the most incredible day…anytime a bride says she loves greenery and wild flowers I get all the heart eyes! 

Steve and Shyanne, thank you so much for braving the bugs with me and for being so much fun and so laid back! I absolutely can’t wait to celebrate with you two in a few months! Enjoy a few of my favorites!
