Brian and Sarah

I felt like I had been looking forward to their wedding day for YEARS! And it really had been over a year since Sarah started telling me her dreams and vision for their wedding day… with Seven Springs as a backdrop, Tart Event Co. planning it and Amanda Burnette creating the florals, I knew it was going to be a show stopper!! But like… an understated, laid back, organic kind of show stopper. And when the big day finally came, it was every bit as perfect as I knew it would be! Sarah has the best style and she and Brian are both so laid back and sweet and I just couldn’t wait to celebrate with them on one of the most important days of their lives!

I love that even with as beautiful as the day was… the focus was on their vows and the commitment they were making to each other. My favorite moment on their wedding day was watching Brian see his bride for the first time in her gown… it was the first time I’ve ever cried during a first look and it was so special!! Then they read their vows to each other privately first which is my new favorite tradition. The tears were flowing and they laughed out loud as they read the words they had written for each other… words that carry so much weight and intention for their relationship and future.

It was like the weather couldn’t help but smile in agreement with their vows… because what started out as a grey day suddenly became the sunniest, most perfect Fall day ever!! I was basically in photographer heaven with these two!! They said “I do” beneath the huge magnolia trees and then celebrated with their friends and family… some who traveled all the way across the ocean to be there… and it was perfect in every way!!
Sarah and Brian, thank you so much for having me be a part of such an incredible day!! It was such a huge honor and I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!

These are so gorgeous. I love the red ribbon on the bride’s bouquet. Such a nice colorful touch!

Oh my goodness! Their romantic portraits are where its at! But I do have to admit that I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the dripping red candles on the table.
