Hudson and Alison

Still not sure if I was dreaming or if this was a real day… Last week I flew to Texas to celebrate with Alison and Hudson at the beautiful Grand Ivory and it was absolutely stunning in every way!! I was so honored to be a part of such an epic day. Alison is a photographer herself so she planned out every detail to be a photographers dream!! I may or may not have flagged over 350 favorites… oops!! But once you see the photos you will understand why! It was amazing!

Alison is also the sweetest person ever so it was such a JOY to get to be there on such a monumental day to help celebrate her and Hudson’s love alongside their friends and family!! I walked into the bridal suite where all of the girls were getting ready and immediately felt like a bonus bridesmaid… that’s my favorite kind of day!! Alison and her girls all slipped into their dresses and looked absolutely amazing! I was so excited for Hudson to see her in her gown!
We decided to do the first look inside the chapel… it’s painted all white and was covered in gorgeous florals… and now it’s my new favorite thing when a couple can do their first look in the same spot where they will be saying their vows just hours later. It was so special for them to have a few moments alone to pause before the rest of the day unfolded!

One of my other favorite moments from their day was when I looked over at Alison and Hudson’s parents during the ceremony… you could sense how loved these two are and how thrilled they were to be all together celebrating on such a special day!!

Alison and Hudson, thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day… It was the biggest honor to get to capture such a beautiful and important day in your lives and I hope these photos remind you forever of how full of love and joy each moment was! Enjoy a few of my favorites!!
