Every year since I can remember my family has gone to Bethany Beach…my grandparents bought a little beach cottage there back in the 70’s and it’s been a favorite vacation spot ever since. Ryan started going with my family every summer since high school…it’s actually where I thought he would propose! (He ended up proposing in the city that my dad grew up near in Germany at a castle, which was definitely better!)

But this place just feels like home in a way…My family has lived in a lot of different houses in the same area, so this is one place that has stayed consistent throughout my whole life! One evening when we were there we decided to bring Lexie to the beach to see if she would like it…she LOVED playing and digging in the sand although she wasnt so excited about the cold water…But we had fun watching her experience it for the first time! It made me think how cool it will be to have kids one day and to get to watch them grow up and experience things for the first time (not any time soon though!:))

So just for fun I thought I’d share some pictures from her first little trip to the beach!
