It was one of those dream-like moments where I had to do a double take to make sure I was actually hearing her correctly…we were at a women’s retreat for creative small business owners called Pursuit 31 and I hadn’t been getting enough sleep…so I reasoned that I very well could’ve imagined it when Mary asked if I would take some anniversary photos for her and Justin while we were there…But when she asked me again if we could really do it and I was so excited! So we picked a time and made this little mini shoot happen…

Tyler and Ashley moved to Richmond shortly after getting married last year, but it somehow feels like they’ve been here much longer! We met at a photography get together and when I realized they had just started coming to our church, I asked them to join our small group! It’s been so much fun getting to be a part of their life this past year and seeing them grow together and in life. They are so much fun to be around and I’m so thankful for them and that they are a part of our lives! I drove up to the Running Hare Vineyard for Jess and Mark’s wedding day and I couldn’t help but imagine that I was driving up to a winery in Tuscany…it has that old world feel and the laid back vibe there was so perfect for their wedding! I love when a bride is so excited to get married that she’s just so joyful and relaxed because all she’s focused on is that moment that she gets to say “I do” to her groom!
