To say I adore this couple would be an understatement. Ryan and I headed up to their family’s home in Maryland where they got married last year for this cozy anniversary session with their pups and everything about it was perfect! Natalie and I first met last year, but she’s one of those people that I felt an instant connection with. She’s warm and beautiful and one of the most fun, intelligent, and encouraging people I know! I knew we’d be good friends from the very first conversation we had. And I was so excited to finally get to meet Huey! I knew he had to be an amazing guy to win a girl like

It was one of those dream-like moments where I had to do a double take to make sure I was actually hearing her correctly…we were at a women’s retreat for creative small business owners called Pursuit 31 and I hadn’t been getting enough sleep…so I reasoned that I very well could’ve imagined it when Mary asked if I would take some anniversary photos for her and Justin while we were there…But when she asked me again if we could really do it and I was so excited! Tyler and Ashley moved to Richmond shortly after getting married last year, but it somehow feels like they’ve been here much longer! We met at a photography get together and when I realized they had just started coming to our church, I asked them to join our small group! It’s been so much fun getting to be a part of their life this past year and seeing them grow together and in life. They are so much fun to be around and I’m so thankful for them and that they are a part of our lives! They’re also a very talented videography husband and wife team here in Richmond and I love the times when I get to work

It started out as an off handed comment…Jill has family in Scotland so I had mentioned to her that it would be so incredible if she were able to visit at the same time as us so that she could shoot Rachel and James’ wedding with me. And I was so amazed when Jill and her husband, Buddy, got on board with the idea! Not only was I thrilled to have her shoot the wedding with me, but Ryan and I were also incredibly excited to get to explore parts of Scotland together! Jill’s mom is from a tiny town in the Highlands and Jill grew up visiting this beautiful country with her family. It was so much fun because
