Guys…it’s finally the BIG day…IT’S HERE!!! Can you believe it?? I cant! But you’re visiting my blog on my new website and I cant help but feel a tiny sense of pride that my work finally has a good home that I feel represents it well!!

It’s been a long journey to get to this point…from deciding on a web platform, to choosing a designer (Krista, you are amazing!!!), to picking colors and deciding what general direction to go in with the new look, to trying to select just a few images for the site that I feel represents my work well,

Ohh May…I think back to college when this was about the time I was finishing up exams and gearing up to head home for summer…well now it’s kind of the opposite! The busy season has arrived! I’m so excited for each of my couples who are getting married in the next few months…They are all so special to me and I want to make sure I’m serving them in the best ways possible! That also means I need to kick it into high gear to make sure I’m accomplishing all of my goals…

I’m typing this just after sending off the last few images and pieces of information that my designer, Krista, needed to finish my new site…CRAZY!! It’s kind of bittersweet..so much thought and care has gone into creating it and I just hope you love it as much as I do!! I am so excited and nervous all at the same time…I cant help but look back on my journey in this industry thus far and reflect on how I got to this point… I love nostalgia..I’m probably going to be one of those grandma’s that makes their grandkids listen to the same story a hundred times just because I love to reflect…

This past weekend was packed full of so many good things…It was officially my last “free” weekend before the busyness of wedding season commences next weekend, but it was so full of fun and sweet moments that I can’t hardly complain that it wasn’t super restful…Most of it was spent with Ryan and Lexie (Sidenote: We taught Lexie how to ring a bell on the door to alert us when she needs to go outside to use the bathroom…well she is TOO smart for us humans and just rings it whenever she’s bored and wants to play outside…Ryan likes to say that she’s thinking: “Good humans! I almost have you trained to do exactly what I want!” Oy. We might be rethinking the whole bell idea).
