We’re home! | Europe Session Sneak Peeks

I am finally back in the U.S. after being gone for close to a month, and if I’m being honest I wasn’t ready to come home yet! There’s normally this feeling of wanting to sleep in my own bed, get free water at restaurants, and get back to a normal routine that accompanies the last few days of trips to Europe for me, but the past few weeks have truly been a whirlwind of adventure…a blur of shooting in new and beautiful places, spending time with my family in Germany + my sister and different friends throughout the trip, meeting new people, and soaking up different cultures…it’s been an amazing experience that I am so sad to see come to an end!

The upside to being home (besides getting to see friends + family and cuddle with my puppy), is that I finally have fast internet and there will be no shortage of beautiful posts on the blog over the next few weeks as I recap our trip, share the Anniversary Celebration Sessions and the most beautiful Scottish wedding I photographed while away, and a few travel tips I picked up along the way!

One of the hardest parts of being home is not getting to spend 24/7 with Ryan anymore! I just have to give him a shout out for being the best…This trip and all of these beautiful shoots literally wouldn’t have been possible without him. He’s the best trip planner, photography assistant, navigator of foreign countries, and the best friend anyone could have. I’m most thankful for all the time we got to spend together while away.

My heart feels so full and I already can’t wait for the next adventure! For now, I have a ton of cleaning and unpacking to do, so much work to catch up on, and lots of readjusting back to “normal” life to do…but it’s so fun how a trip like this can completely change your perspective and how it’s reminded me to look for the adventure and beauty that’s around me every day in my own backyard…

But without further ado, here are a bunch of sneak peeks (a few different than the ones shared on my instagram!) from the past month abroad…Munich, Venice, Paris, and various locations in Scotland…I am so incredibly excited to share more from the wedding and each of these sessions!

Thank you so much to everyone who followed along with the adventure! It was so much fun hearing from some of you and I can’t wait to blog more of these! Cheers and Happy Monday!
