Amy and Brandon are Married!

When Amy asked me if I’d shoot the girls getting ready, first look, ceremony, and portraits at her wedding, I jumped at the chance!! Those are all of my favorite parts of weddings! And Amy is one of my good friends from college so I was so honored to get to be a part of her day…She sang at my wedding so she will always be so special to me! We lived in the basement of a townhouse together my last year of college, and it was such a joy to watch her relationship with Brandon grow…

I remember peeking out the window with one of our other roommates and best friends, Kaitlyn, when Brandon picked her up for their first date on his MOTORCYCLE..yea…we felt like we were watching the beginning of a movie and we couldn’t stop giggling..they looked GOOD together…dont they make a gorgeous couple??

And they both have such amazing hearts..they love the Lord and they love others so well..I’m so excited to see where this journey called marriage takes them!! Amy was the most beautiful bride and it was so fun seeing Brandon light up every time he looked at her.

One of Brandon’s good friends, Kaitlyn Phipps, and I shot this wedding together, so you will have to check out her page for the rest! She is adorable and so sweet…It made me a little jealous of photographers like  Jen and Ashley who get to shoot with a partner all the time..we had a blast! Amy and Brandon, thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day!

Amy’s momma lacing up the dress!

Isn’t she stunning??

Love that shot of Amy’s mom on the right..she’s so cute!

so beautiful Amy!

Amy and her bridesmaids! You guys are such a fun group of girls!

The florals were PERFECT. Dahlia’s are my favorite flower!!

working it…

Amy and her brother and sister are hilarious..

Getting ready to exchange letters!

Amy and Brandon decided to do a fake “first look”…Brandon didn’t actually SEE Amy before the ceremony…but they wanted to exchange letters and pray together so we just had them stand on opposite sides of a this beautiful tree…it was such a sweet idea and worked perfectly!

It had to take some MAJOR will power not to turn around or even take a little peek..especially because we kept telling him how AMAZING she looked…props to you Brandon…

so excited!!

and then they read each others letters and tears started flowing..

holding the letter up to read it in an attempt to save her makeup..

so happy!

Ahhh! I love this! We backed up to give them some time to pray together…

…and then I couldn’t resist getting a little closer…

Some last minute touch ups and adding the veil before making her way down the aisle!

Taking a moment to pray with her bridesmaids as the ceremony seats were filling up with friends and family…

And here’s when I think I started crying too…

Mom was getting excited as it was almost time to head outside!

I love the moment when the groom sees his bride…

In that left picture Brandon mouthed the words “I love you” to Amy..and then my heart melted.

Amy and her brother and sister all have INCREDIBLE singing voices…

Exchanging rings!

MARRIED!!!!!

And then THIS happened…Kaitlyn was shooting the bridal party portraits, but I couldn’t resist grabbing a shot…Brandon gave the shirts to his groomsmen as their gift…

You are so GORGEOUS. I can’t get over it.

the light was so pretty…

…and then I got to hang out and enjoy the reception with lots of my college friends! Amy and Brandon, your wedding was absolutely perfect and I hope you are enjoying married life so far!!

OH.MY.GOODNESS. I think this is one of my favorite sessions you have shot thus far. First, my favorite shots were the ones of the couple holding hands while pressed against the huge tree. The composition of the photo is awesome. Absolutely gorgeous! The image of the groomsmen in the super hero tees were classic. As I continued to scroll down, my new favorite pic was of the groom carrying his bride. Stunning! Love, love, love these last few shots of the couple near the fence.
