Daytona | Petersburg Senior Session

I knew I was going to love Daytona after the very first time she emailed me…She’s so cute and spunky and has such a fun personality (not to mention a really awesome name!)…It’s so cool when people turn out to be exactly what you expect from their emails!! The first time Daytona emailed me it was actually just to ask a question, because Daytona is a photographer too! So when she emailed me again asking if I’d be up for taking her senior pictures I was so honored and couldn’t wait to hang out with her for an evening!

We met in Petersburg, and even though I’ve shot there several times before, I’m always amazed at the variety of good spots that are within a one mile radius! It’s really amazing. We had such a great time wandering around town, shooting, and chatting…Daytona, you are so much fun to be around and such an encouraging person!

We also just so happened to find an awesome antique store in the middle of the session…and since Daytona and I both love antiquing, after we were done shooting we went back to it to look around…I’m not sure if there is a better way to end a session than with a little antiquing??

I hope you enjoy my favorites from the evening!!

So cute!!

Ahhh Daytona your model face is awesome!!

I love this set with the green in the background…I like that color with Daytona’s purple dress…

Stoppp it. You are so pretty:)

I started giving each of my senior clients a pretty mug from Anthropologie! I have the “a” one and it’s one of my favorites from my giant mug collection so I thought my seniors would like them too…who doesn’t love a pretty mug? I normally mail it with their pictures, but I decided it could be cute to take some pictures of Daytona with hers!

Pretty!

Then we took a couple of headshots with her camera…love these…

So this may be because I’ve been watching too much of this show lately..but doesn’t Daytona kind of look like Julie from Friday Night Lights in that left shot??

LOVE!

I will never get tired of shooting by this building in Petersburg…

haha! Couldn’t resist including this one!

FAVORITE!!

Happy Monday!!
