Dustin and Lindsay | Engaged!

If you’re ever having a bad day..you should hang out with these two…seriously I think I was laughing hysterically during around 90% of their session..and my abs legitimately hurt afterwards…They are both so funny and fun to be around!! And their also some of the nicest and sweetest people I’ve ever met…

Dustin first contacted me after one of my good friends from high school gave him my phone number…we chatted for a good thirty minutes, as Dustin told me all about their wedding details…I was seriously impressed with all of the details he knew about and had helped to plan!…A few weeks later I got to meet the two of them, and I loved them right away. They’re both so easy to talk to and I love how they interact with each other…I think their silliness definitely shows in their pictures!

We had so much fun wandering around Belle Isle, talking, having fun, and searching for good portrait spots…They brought their dog, Yeti, along and even though he wasn’t super cooperative that day, I love the shots that we got with him! He’s so cute and friendly and made me want a dog even more than I already do! (don’t tell Ryan… ;))

Dustin and Lindsay, thank you for letting me be a little part of such a special time in your lives! I can’t wait for your wedding day! I hope you enjoy my favorites!

I love these on the bridge! It was tricky dodging all the people though, because we accidentally chose to to schedule their portrait session on the same day as a Richmond Half Marathon…

cuties…

Yeti wouldn’t do much posing for us, but he was so patient every time we tied him up!

I don’t know what this building used to be but it made a cute backdrop…

LOVE!

sooo much pretty golden light….

We spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get over to this island of rocks for these next ones…the hardest part was actually just getting my camera over to the island..I was so scared of dropping it! I tried walking through the water and jumping from rock to rock..We ended up walking across this tree that had fallen down to get to it..I’m thinking it was definitely worth it for this next set of pictures that we were able to get though!! Love them!

Ahhhh!

Here Dustin was trying to give Yeti a pep talk to try and get him to cooperate for some pictures…

And it kind of worked!

Lindsay, you are adorable!

loved her fun yellow shoes…

And then we had to start heading back because it was getting dark, but I could resist snapping this shot of the pretty sky!
