Purple Fall Wedding | Nikki and Eric

Eric and Nikki were one of the very FIRST couples to book me to shoot their wedding…I remember walking into Panera where we had planned to meet to discuss their plans and seeing them sitting at a booth together talking excitedly…and I knew right away that they were perfect for each other. He’s quieter, she’s more bubbly…and they just balance each other out perfectly! I love when that happens. Nikki and Eric go so well together and I’m so excited that their wedding date finally came! It was beautiful and fun and you could tell that Nikki and Eric have so many people who really care about them. Their love for each other and their friends and family is so genuine and I loved getting to capture it!
My favorite part of the day was during the ceremony when Nikki and Eric locked love notes that they had written to each other and a bottle of wine in a hand-made (by the groom!) wooden box with their initials carved in the top. If they should ever go through trying times in their marriage they are to open the box and read the love notes that they have written to each other to recall where their love began..If they don’t have to open it and their 20th wedding anniversary comes, then they get to open it and enjoy it together in celebration! I LOVED that idea. Traditions like that are what it’s really all about.

Nikki and Eric, thank you so much for letting me celebrate with you! I hope you enjoy my favorites from your special day!
