Virginia Wedding Photographer | Patrick and Marybeth

There’s something about shooting engagement sessions by the water in the Fall that feels so cozy! I love that the weather is just starting to get chilly enough to cuddle together and that it’s not too hot or bug-gy to sit on the dock and take in a pretty sunset…so when Marybeth suggested we do their engagement session at her family’s home in Deltaville on the bay, I knew immediately that it was going to be perfect!!

Marybeth’s grandfather built their home here on the water that she’s been coming to for quality time with her family her whole life…and I love that it’s also become a special place for her and Patrick over the years! They’ve been dating since high school so they share so many sweet memories here together too!

I pulled up to the house and Marybeth greeted me at the door…she’s so warm and friendly and just one of those people that’s easy to talk to. And her relationship with Patrick feels just like that too…easy and fun…a romance that’s been built on years of friendship…they were so relaxed and joyful and it was so much fun to get to capture their relationship!

I loved this evening with them so much and can’t wait to get them in front of my camera again for their wedding this spring! Marybeth and Patrick, thank you for being so sweet and for showing me around such  special place! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!
