I always love getting to hang out with senior girls for portrait sessions…Hunter is tall and GORGEOUS, and so down to earth and sweet and I am so thankful that I got to spend an afternoon with her and her momma to take these! The end of high school is such a fun and exciting time and I love that when I shoot senior portraits, I get to hear all about the plans and dreams that they have for their future…There are so many different paths to take after graduating and I remember feeling overwhelmed by them (I am the queen of indecision!)…but I’m so excited for Hunter to finish out her senior year and decide what is up

Eric and Nikki were one of the very FIRST couples to book me to shoot their wedding…I remember walking into Panera where we had planned to meet to discuss their plans and seeing them sitting at a booth together talking excitedly…and I knew right away that they were perfect for each other. He’s quieter, she’s more bubbly…and they just balance each other out perfectly! I love when that happens. Nikki and Eric go so well together and I’m so excited that their wedding date finally came! It was simple and fun and you could tell that Nikki and Eric have so many people who really care about them. Their love for each

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again because the more I work with couples like Katie and Johnny, the more I know it to be true…working with brides who are super excited about their wedding photography is the BEST! I left their e-session feeling especially grateful that I get to work with couples like them who are passionate about their pictures and about having their love for each other documented in a beautiful and authentic way! I also left it feeling like I had known these two for years…They are so open and sweet and I just loved my time with them! Katie and I messaged back and forth about their session in the weeks

Belle Isle is one of those locations that Richmond photographers get asked to shoot at again and again…and I think the reason why is obvious…it’s BEAUTIFUL! I love shooting their and I love that it’s right next to the city…that’s one of the things that makes Richmond so amazing! It’s the perfect size city in my opinion and still has lots of “green” areas…I met Shelby and Dereck there last week (plus their pup, Abe, and Shelby’s sister to take care of him after we were done taking pictures with him! It’s ALWAYS a good idea to have what I like to call a “puppy wrangler” during
