Instagood Monday and a Sneak Peek

This weekend went by in a whirlwind…they always seem to when I have a  wedding to shoot! This wedding was particularly special because the bride is an old friend that I went to high school with…Her family moved to Virginia from Tennessee and they are just the sweetest southern family…I can’t wait to share the images from this wedding! It reflected them so perfectly and it was SO full of details! Plus there was a live band, which was pretty much incredible. I love line dances!

It was also really fun for Ryan and I to get to spend some time in Blacksburg where the wedding was! It made me miss college so much…It’s so crazy how fast it went by…I LOVED my college experience and am so proud to be a Hokie…On Sunday we ate at one of our favorite breakfast spots and walked around campus with coffee in hand for a while just reminiscing and talking about the things that made college awesome!

Also can we talk about how awesome the weather was this weekend???…It was the warmest it had been in so long, which was crazy especially after the mini blizzard we had last week….It made portrait time during the wedding so fun because it was GORGEOUS out.

Lastly, I just have to randomly mention that Ryan and I got stuck in an elevator at the Inn at Virginia Tech on Friday night…It wasnt super eventful..but we were stuck in their  hovering in between the 2nd and 3rd floors for about 40 minutes! Finally a man arrived and yelled through the door..”HEY, PEOPLE OF THE ELEVATOR! I’ll have you out in about 5 minutes!”…And then we vowed to not take the elevator the rest of the weekend…I’m just glad we didn’t get stuck in there on the day of the wedding!

And I’ll leave with you a peek at a beautiful bride…I can’t wait to share more!

I’m sorry you got stuck in the elevator, but glad you made it out safely and that it didn’t happen on the wedding day! Phew.
